Who Are We
The Canada Bureau for International Diplomacy (CBID)
promotes global cooperation through education, sustainable
trade, and youth engagement. Partnering with Canadian
universities, CBID delivers leadership and capacity training
programs that address key challenges in climate justice,
public health, and innovation. Through initiatives like STIP
CGC, and ICYDAP, CBID empowers the next generation of
diplomats, scientists, and entrepreneurs to shape a more
inclusive and sustainable global future
As a leading voice on diplomacy in Canada, our work is framed by three guiding priorities:
Advocate for the most effective UN, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals
Increase Canadians’ awareness of the diplomacy work and its importance through our advocacy, convening power, and awareness-raising campaigns.
Build Common Ground
Serve as a bridge-builder across Canada to help the leaders of tomorrow craft shared solutions to shared challenges through a range of programmes that unite Canadians from all walks of life.
Grow Global Citizens
Mobilize Canadians to grow global citizens by empowering youth through education, mentorship, experiential learning, and leadership training.
